JOB SUMMARY

In the Digital Marketing Project Manager role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of web marketing services. Your primary objective is to maximize the efficiency of the Web Marketing Team to deliver excellence for all SEO, PPC, and Review Generation clients. You will be ultimately responsible for project setup and task delegation, ensuring that tasks involving new accounts, existing client requests, and ongoing client maintenance are addressed in a timely and organized manner.

You will work closely with our web strategists (sales) and fellow web marketing team members to ensure that each client receives a level of care aligned with their service agreement, and help develop team documentation and resources to deliver results for our clients in an efficient and consistent manner.

In addition, you will directly contribute to production by writing optimized content for various use cases and/or tackling a portion of the more technical duties required of the team. Assigned production duties will vary based on your background and skill set and may include (but are not limited to): writing new or revising existing SEO or PPC landing pages, writing email marketing campaign content, writing website content, writing Cybernautic brand content (for our own website, blog posts, social media), performing technical optimization tasks, light software development using Google's developer tools to increase departmental efficiency, troubleshooting or building reports in Google's Looker Studio, providing assistance with DNS and Email support, etc.

The Qualifications We Are Looking For:

  • Background in training, team management, and/or project management
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Paid Advertising, Keyword Selection, and Google Analytics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Naturally organized
  • Strategic and problem-solving mind
  • Resourceful and proactive approach to work
  • Experience researching digital solutions and using many different technology platforms
  • Kind and collaborative spirit that can rally and develop a team

  • Live in or near Bloomington, IL or have a willingness to relocate
  • Desire to find a long-term employment solution and commitment to at least 3 years on the team

You'll stand out if you have:

  • Completed Google Certifications in GA4 Analytics, Paid Search Ads, Paid Display Ads, Paid Measurement, etc.
  • Previous experience building a website or using a website CMS (content management system)
  • Background in or interest in content development
  • Transferrable or related experience in visual design

JOB DUTIES & EXPECTATIONS

Research/Strategy

  • Research client services, industries and customer needs to identify ideal keywords, propose best fit service levels, landing page topics, and/or ad campaign structure.
  • Identify opportunities with existing clients to maximize their potential by leveraging our web marketing services.

Client Communication

  • Communicate with clients to gather feedback and approval on work produced by the web marketing team
  • Alongside Client Services or the client's Web Strategist, address any concerns or questions that come up during execution of work aligned with the client's service level
  • Provide accountability on the completion of regular client touchpoints as dictated by service level
  • Conduct Review Generation or Email Marketing Platform training sessions as needed.
  • Address client emails, phone calls, or requests in a timely manner

Account Performance Monitoring and Improvements

  • Regularly analyze client accounts in search of underperforming areas — and then work with the team to improve it. This may include adjusting tasks and work inside the client's service level, or working with the client's Strategist to suggest service level upgrades.
  • Review monthly rank reports and monitor rank progress on all accounts that are investing in a rank-focused service level.

Team Management

  • Create and manage project timelines and task deadlines while taking into consideration existing workload, client expectations, and priority.
  • Initiate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that web marketing services are completed on time and with a regular cadence that aligns with client service levels.
  • Review work from web marketing team members to ensure full completion and quality.
  • Coach and mentor web marketing production staff as needed and provide coaching on minor performance-related issues.

Learn and Grow

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in website project management and digital marketing strategies.
  • As time allows, become certified in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other relevant industry certifications.
  • Be open to receiving feedback from your teammates. Apply that feedback to subsequent projects to ensure each one is better than the last.
