Job Description:
As a Business Analyst, you will be an integral member of the Payee System implementation project. You will be responsible for mastering the cloud-based platform functions and understanding the fiscal unit’s business processes. Your role will involve populating data, reconciling records from the legacy system to the new cloud-based solution, and conducting extensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You will report to a fiscal unit supervisor with a dotted line to the project manager and may be assigned other project tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Learn the selected cloud-based platform functions to a superuser level and understand the basic business processes of the fiscal unit.
- Populate data in the system and perform reconciliation of records from the legacy system to the cloud-based solution.
- Conduct extensive tests and track results during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in various project tasks as assigned, according to the fiscal unit’s needs.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Report progress and issues to the fiscal unit supervisor and project manager.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve project processes and outcomes.
- Ensure thorough documentation of all processes and changes.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the implementation.
- Contribute to project meetings and provide updates on tasks and milestones.
- General accounting background.
- Proficient in basic fiscal software.
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Experience in data reconciliation and system data population.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions is a plus.
