Job Description:
As a Network Engineer, you will work independently and provide leadership to others while managing highly complex work efforts. You will be responsible for the design and maintenance of both hardware and software necessary for computer networks, specializing in Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), TCP/IP, virtual machines, and server/network infrastructure. Your role will involve the installation, configuration, and administration of wired and wireless network switches, access points, server farms, and network-based storage components. Additionally, you will handle the installation of cable, wiring, and related equipment for telephony and data systems, execute disaster recovery/business continuity processes, and perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and fault management for all network-related components.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies:
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies:
- Experience in network design and configuration, including WAN Layer 2 and Layer 3.
- Proficiency in VMWare virtual SAN and VMware vSphere.
- Expertise in site-to-site security, VPN, and IPSec.
- Experience troubleshooting complex data centers.
- Ability to design failover data center Disaster Recovery sites.
- Knowledge of network concepts including firewalls, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Experience managing ACI switches.
- Proficiency with F5 load balancers, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data centers, UCS, and storage in data center environments.
- Experience with solutions architecture in data center products and solutions.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus/9K and Meraki switches.
- Proficiency with Cisco FS or Citrix load balancers and WAN optimization solutions from Cisco or Riverbed.
- Experience with test tool configuration and operation using Spirent Test Centre or similar products.
- Proficiency with IT architecture design and documentation.
- Extensive experience with F5 Load Balancer implementation, configuration of DNS and VPN, including multifactor authentication.
- Experience in managing Cisco Duo.
