Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC) www.ctec-corp.com is a CMMI Level III company that has provided technology and management solutions to commercial and government clients across the USA for 20 years. We are currently looking to fill Peoplesoft Project Manager for our client.

PROJECT DETAILS

Client since 2010 has been using PeopleSoft Financials as its production financials application with the following modules: General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, and Asset Management. Currently the cliet is using PeopleSoft version 9.2 with Image 21 and PeopleTools 8.56. Client uses Appsian for single sign-on functionality for PeopleSoft with Active Directory. PeopleSoft is integrated with Cloud based Oracle EPM and COUPA expense management system. PeopleSoft is also integrated with several other on-prem applications.

The client is upgrading to PeopleTools 8.61. In addition to the upgrade, normal production support activities such as adding new reports and enhancements to PeopleSoft Financials will be underway during the timeframe of this task order. Several other projects may also be underway: supporting the physical inventory and other asset related processes, enhancing the single sign-on functionality, upgrading to Oracle 21c and integrating with other cloud-based applications.

The Client is seeking a Project Manager to support the House's upgrade to PeopleTools Version 8.61. The focus of the Project Manager will be to assist with project management activities such as providing guidance on the necessary upgrade tasks; creating, executing, and revising project work plans as appropriate; monitoring progress and status; and providing status reports and communication as requested. The Project Manager will assist the  PeopleSoft support staff and also work directly with other consultants from multiple firms working on the upgrade and other PeopleSoft related projects.

General Responsibilities-

  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements,
  • Actively monitor and track progress toward objectives and project scope,
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools,
  • Identify tasks and resources needed, assign individual responsibilities, and manage resources on assigned tasks,
  • Facilitate team and user meetings effectively,
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion,
  • Review status and documentation prepared by team and provide status reports and communication, and
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

 

Specific Responsibilities-

  • Support the upgrade of the House's PeopleSoft application PeopleTools 8.56 version to PeopleTools 8.61,
  • Work closely with House PeopleSoft staff to manage the upgrade effort,
  • Plan and execute the upgrade so that the other concurrent related projects are integrated as needed, and
  • Work directly with other consultants from multiple firms working on the upgrade and other PeopleSoft related projects.

 

Minimum Qualifications-

  • General understanding of application programming, database, and system design,
  • Knowledge and experience managing projects focused on application implementations, upgrades, and maintenance,
  • Knowledge and experience managing resources, creating plans, monitoring status, providing status reports, reviewing work products, and reviewing documentation,
  •  Excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • Strong interpersonal skills,
  • Experience meeting project objectives,
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment,
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities,
  •  Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently,
  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines, and
  •  Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, and other House business units.

 

Specific Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.61,
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience upgrading PeopleSoft applications, and
  •  Comprehensive knowledge and experience managing PeopleSoft projects.
  • Note: Knowledge and experience with the following is a plus, but not required:
  • Working with PeopleSoft and Cloud application integration with Pentaho Middleware, and
  •  Working with PeopleSoft General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Asset Management, Commitment Control, and Purchasing related modules.

Location- Washington DC- 3days onsite/week required
