A combination of sensors ranging from cameras and LiDAR scanners to state-of-the-art positioning systems captures, measures, identifies and maps areas in the United States and Europe.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, creative and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Solution Specialist in our Middleton, WI location. This role will work with our Local Government, Utilities and Telecommunications Sales Teams to develop solutions to client problems based on our data and data analytics capabilities.

As part of our team, you will learn how to navigate our proprietary software, create mileage estimates, participate in demos and work closely with our sales team. This position will provide a foundation for growth, experience and knowledge of our products, solutions and working directly with customers.

Job Duties

• Develops estimates of mileage based on GIS data.
• Participates in demonstrations with clients.
• Prepares data files in ArcGIS Desktop using geoprocessing tools.
• Publishes datasets to ArcGIS Online and creates maps for use in product demonstrations.
• Contributes to development of client training materials.
• Supports Solution Engineers.
• Assists customers with technical questions.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Geospatial Science or a related field, and 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Prior experience and knowledge working with local governments, utility or telecommunications firms.
• Experience in GIS as a user support analyst or in geospatial sales is preferred.
• Skilled at working to understand client requirements.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop analysis and editing tools.
• Ability to create web maps and apps using ArcGIS Online
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to projects and programs outside current competency.
• Must be organized, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to manage workflow in a proactive manner.
• Initiative to solve problems independently and creatively.

This position is based in our Madison, WI office and requires working 2-3 days/week in office.
