Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Superintendent to oversee the Gordie Howe International Bridge - US Approach Bridge construction project and ensure timely completion within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing construction sites, supervising teams, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise US Approach Bridge on-site activities and personnel to ensure project completion according to plans, specifications, and schedule
- Manage day-to-day operations of the construction site
- Coordinate with CYMI Management, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Implement and enforce safety protocols
- Produce various reports, including hours worked, manpower productivity and construction progress reports.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent in the construction industry
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction documents
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control procedures
- Familiarity with construction software like Bluebeam,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of contract terms and negotiations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
