Shift: 8x5 hrs/week - Rotational
Job Description:
- This position is part of an intensive care team that focuses on assessment and safety planning for those at the greatest risk of danger to self or others or grave disability due to mental illness. This includes crisis assessments and ongoing clinical support services to allow individuals with serious mental illness to continue living in their community and disrupt emergency out-of-area hospitalizations as much as possible.
- Department: Behavioral Health
- The Behavioral Health department provides hospital and clinic based services.
- EMR used: EPIC
Certification:
- BLS
- AK license as LCSW, LMSW, LPC or Psychologist
Minimum Job Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field.
- Two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor.
- Knowledge of DSM-V disorders and most efficacious treatments, good communication skills and writing abilities.
- Alaska licensure as a LMSW, LCSW, LPC or Psychologist.
