What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Transport Engineer position at CYNET SYSTEMS?

Job Description:

Pay Range: $30hr - $35hr
  • Well-versed with below Optical technologies/concepts.
  • DWDM, EDFA Vs RAMAN amplifiers, ROADM, FOADM, Optical Transponders, Optical Coherent technology, ASE, OSNR, FEC, Different fiber types, Non-Linear effects, Different modulation schemes (16QAM, 8QAM, etc), Dispersion.
  • Good understanding of FCAPS functionalities.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting Optical DWDM networks.
  • Experience in software upgrades in large networks.
  • Min 6-10 years of Hands-on experience working on Optical DWDM line systems from Ciena, Infinera, Cisco etc.
Soft Skills:
  • ITIL process understanding(ITIL Certification Preferred).
  • Good technical document writing skills.
  • Experience in working in cross-team environments across different time zones.
  • Experience in driving meetings with customers.
