Job Description:
- Work must be done onsite.
- Inspect complete assemblies and subassemblies from PLXB Assembly Shop, or vendors, per requirements of Engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Review all Data Sheets to ensure that the Assembly personnel have completed the Engineering test requirements and all data sheet requirements.
- Ensure both physical and electronic outputs files are either printed or stored on the appropriate network with passing results.
- When appropriate, record results of inspection activities in Inspection History Folders and/or in Data Sheets.
- Document discrepancies for nonconforming material in SAP.
- Escalate major discrepancies and Regulatory issues to the QA Manager.
- Re-inspect any rework activities associated with nonconformances and approved dispositions.
- Interact with Incoming Inspection, Manufacturing Engineering and QA to determine appropriate corrective action(s) for discrepancies.
- When needed, assist with other tasks assigned by the QA Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in field of Quality Control.
- 5 years of experience in Inspection or Manufacturing environment.
- Appropriate written communications skills.
- Ability to communicate to assemblers in a calm and respectful manner.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
