- The position is held at Hudson Mental Health Unit, which is part of the Office of Mental Health(OMH).
- OMH provides mental health services to forensic patients.
- Candidates will be required to submit TB testing and recent flu shots.
- May have contact with incarcerated individuals.
- Candidates will also be subject to CNYPC orientation.
- Contract staff would mainly be working and assisting in providing therapeutic services to patients in a primary therapist role to include individual therapy and the completion of mental health assessments and documentation (Core History, Suicide Assessments/risk assessments, Treatment Plans, Discharge Plans), according to policy and procedure.
- Group facilitation will also be part of the expectations.
