We are looking for Supply Planner for our client in Danville, IL
Job Title: Supply Planner

Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Pay Range $28.50hr - $32hr
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining production schedules and capacity plan to ensure on-time delivery, cost objective and avoid material shortage.
- Maintain well-defined working relationships and communications with manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm scheduling and capacity analysis.
- Responsible for inventory management, inventory location replenishment, SKU planning, and risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
- Initiate and lead supply planning discussion during capacity-constrained periods.
- Interact with demand planning and operations teams to balance the supply network.
- Build planning processes for project improvements.
- Support new product introduction in conjunction with sales.
- Responsible for critical metric objectives waste management, inventory weeks of supply, and case fill rate.
- Lead inventory variances (Quarterly and yearly).
- Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
- Demonstrate an understanding of supply chain cycle, Manufacturing, organization structures, and performance measures.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and working under timelines; multi-tasking abilities; exception-based management capability.
- Bachelor Degree in related fields (Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related subject area).
- Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external partners.
- Ability to interact and build relations with senior management and key partners.
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- APICS affiliation and/or certification.
- SAP, OMP or other ERP/APS software experience.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal/oral skills.
- Self-starter with an independent work ethic and react quickly to priorities.
