POSITION SUMMARY:
The CF Foundation is preparing for the next leap in how we serve the CF community. We have an ambitious vision for this next CFF Community Data ecosystem to align on technology, data, people, processes, and cultural changes needed to broaden, connect, and activate the CF community to increase engagement, fundraising, and philanthropic giving.
The Application Developer V is responsible for designing and implementing the technical arm of this ambitious vision. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce administration, configuration, and integration, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position will work closely with several department heads and collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead system enhancements, and contribute to our overall success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design/build/test/deploys in-house applications across various platforms that meet customer requirements.
Performs requirements analysis and design with project leads, business analysts and internal customers.
Identify unused or underutilized platform featuresand collaborate with team on use cases to realize full value of license features.
Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
Sandbox environment management.
Build/Configure Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules).
Implement Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.
Manage all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules, and delegated administration.
Provide expert-level support to users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency and adoption.
Develops and maintains data integrations with 3rd parties for CFF.
Troubleshoot technical issues and demonstrate ability to drive to successful resolution.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics or related field.
Strong Salesforce product knowledge and minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Administration of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, NPSP/Nonprofit Cloud).
Expert knowledge of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules).
Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including, but not limited to: flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports.
Experience with Agile project methodology.
Ability to implement solutions using effective and innovative methodologies including the ability to perform peer code reviews.
Superb communication (written and oral) skills including building technical designs and strategic roadmaps.
Superb time management skills, including the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.
Attention to detail and ability to provide feedback for processes and improvement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - HIGHLY DESIRED:
Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator certifications.
Active in Salesforce community and demonstrates enthusiasm towards continued professional development.
Previous experience working in a non-profit environment.
Experience with Agile Delivery Methodologies.
Ability to estimate the level of effort for teamwork or vendor work.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Application Development Manager. No direct reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature.
No heavy lifting required.
Primary functions are computer based.
