We are looking for a Logistics Sourcing Analyst to evaluate and optimize our logistics spend and supplier performance. Working as our Logistics Sourcing Analyst, your duties include assessing the cost efficiency in our supply chain, prepare analytical reports and industry outlooks for upper management
What you'll do
Work with and support the sourcing team in identifying new procurements opportunities through running reports, data analysis, and engagement with important stakeholders in order to ensure that the supplier expenditure is properly managed
Analyzing, examining, and determining market trends and conditions
Examining data regarding the cost and availability of logistics services globally with specific focus on the transportation industry
Gathering and providing periodic logistics analysis reports based on current and forecasted spend
Project industry trends to implement appropriate responses and contingency measures
Evaluate bid results and prepare recommendations
Provide support to a team of six logistics sourcing professionals in the negotiation of major contracts related to warehousing and transportation
Who you are
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years procurement or finance experience
Intermediate use of Excel, including pivot tables and Lookups.
Good analytical skills and high level of attention to detail.
Great interpersonal skills applicable across cultural and regional boundaries
Self-starter who can work independently with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to cope with change, make decisions and act comfortably with risk and uncertainty
Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives to internal stakeholders and senior management
