Summary/Function:
The IT Risk Coordinator contributes to IT risk/cybersecurity projects, generates, and provides reports, helps contact and collect third-party risk management responses, performs coordination and research on third-party vendors, access levels, and business continuity and readiness.

Required Qualifications:
- Excellent organization skills
- 2 years’ experience in Project Management
- Ability to work effectively in a team fostered environment and independently.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with business partners (internal/external) at all levels to explain concepts and requirements in a clear manner.
- Effectively balance multiple tasks through thoughtful prioritization.
- General understanding of Microsoft operating system.
- FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certified or ability to obtain in 120 days of start date.
Desired Requirements:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Experience in IT risk analysis and/or IT.
- Basic knowledge of FinTech and securities industry regulations.
- Project management certification such as Project , CAPM, or PMP.
- General knowledge of the third-party risk management lifecycle: planning, due diligence, contracts, ongoing monitoring, and termination.
- Knowledge evaluating technology risk appetite and identifying potential IT risks.
Duties:
- Assist and coordinate third-party reviews with IT, business process owners and vendors.
- Perform third-party risk management activities, including initiating assessments, gathering due diligence, and coordination of continuous monitoring.
- Sort, upload and tag documents and data within repositories.
- Develop metrics to measure, monitor, and report on effectiveness of assigned projects.
- Effectively report and communicate status of assignments with others and management.
- Responsible for contributing to, documenting, and overseeing projects timelines to ensure they are completed within required constraints.
- Assist in maintenance of Business Continuity Program.
