**Overview:**
We are seeking dedicated Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. We are looking for part-time, seasonal staff to work from May-August.
**Duties:**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using cash registers or POS systems
- Sell Retail items, including olive oils and balsamic vinegars
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize dining areas
- Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for the next customers
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items and upsell when appropriate
- Experience in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Toast POS system is a plus
