Job Title: Maintenance Crew Lead

Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Crew Lead, your primary responsibility is to supervise and coordinate the activities of a maintenance crew engaged in various tasks related to property upkeep and cleanliness. You will lead by example, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to established standards.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
• Supervise a team of maintenance workers, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Delegate tasks and schedule work assignments based on priorities and deadlines.
• Motivate team members to maintain high productivity and quality of work.
• Maintenance Tasks:
• Perform and oversee routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, mowing, trimming, and landscaping.
• Inspect equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and materials, placing orders when necessary.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all crew members follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies related to maintenance activities.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that work meets established standards and specifications.
• Address any issues or deficiencies promptly, taking corrective actions as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment storage.
• Communication:
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding work progress, schedules, and any issues or concerns.
• Report any maintenance problems or safety hazards to appropriate personnel for resolution.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or related field.
• Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks and equipment operation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Working Conditions:
The job involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
