Role and Responsibilities
The Facility Maintenance Custodian will be responsible for job duties including but not limited to:
General and in-depth cleaning in all areas of the building, with a focus on the “clean” areas of the facility.
Basic maintenance tasks for the facility that may arise.
Familiarity with basic hand tools needed for maintenance tasks.
Ensures filtration systems are maintained, and all applicable filters replaced on schedule.
Will spend the full work-week cleaning and will be the first point of contact for facility cleanliness needs.
Assists in examining facility for safety hazards, reports issues to operational leadership.
Ensures an appropriate level of custodial supplies.
Runs any and all machinery required for custodial purposes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Previous custodian/janitorial experience strongly preferred
Previous maintenance experience strongly preferred
High School Diploma required
Preferred Skills
Strong verbal communication skills.
Excellent active listening skills.
Detail oriented and thorough
Ability to self-lead and identify needs with minimal input.
Physical requirements
Standing for extended periods of time
Repetitive lifting, reaching, bending, kneeling, ladder climbing
Ability to lift/hold up to 50lbs
Prolonged periods of physical activity
Office environment, and limited outdoor exposure to temperature changes

Candidates will need to meet industry age requirements, and a job offer will be subject to a background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
