Part-Time

Shifts (12 hour):

Saturday and Sunday

7p-7a

Job Duties:

  • Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure protection of tenants, visitors, property, and equipment security.
  • Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure security; perform inspections within tenants’ premises as required; monitor closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities.
  • Control and check access ingress and egress at the property, monitor burglar and fire alarm systems as required.
  • Notify violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
  • Supply escort services when needed.
  • Monitor for and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contacts emergency responders, i.e., police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as needed.
  • Prepare routine, standardized reports and notifications to Ambassador Supervisor and Management when necessary.
  • Perform periodic checks of emergency call boxes and call box lights where applicable to ensure proper functioning; report malfunctions as required.
  • Be alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and security code violators; notify police of suspicious persons; if appropriate approach suspicious persons and detain until police arrive.
  • Investigate accidents, property loss, thefts, and unlawful activities; properly document details and advise Ambassador Supervisor and Management when necessary.
  • When necessary, may provide specialized security in complex operational areas, requiring knowledge of the operating environment.
  • Maintain a security program designed to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees.
  • While conducting walk through observations of entire property watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering.
  • This position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions while in performance of the essential functions of the job; the percentage of time performing these functions is to be solely determined by Management based upon the requirements of the property.
  • Work with staff on all special event programs within the property.
  • Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations; participate in courses related to field to remain current.
  • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by employees of D Solutions Inc.
  • Job duties may be modified at any time.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to successfully interact with corporate residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees using a professional courteous manner.
  • Maintain a neat, clean appearance always. Repair or replace torn or stained uniforms as needed. No tobacco products to be used or visible during shift.
  • Assure safety standards are met and that they comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
  • Compliance with all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner is expected.
  • Competent knowledge of use and care of tools and equipment used in the position is required.
  • Assigned work must be completed in a timely manner, maintaining detailed notes and log of activities, must communicate status via email or paperwork.
  • ·Able to work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook and D Solutions Inc., Ambassador Services Policies and Procedures manual (a.k.a. Post Orders).

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to utilize a smart phone for email communication.

Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, talk, and use hands to feel or touch. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach with hands or arms. The employee may be required to sit, climb, or balance. The employee must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job duties including at times lifting or moving up to twenty-five pounds.

All employees are required to at any time pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
