Lead Custodian

Welcome to D'Vine Grace! We are a small family-owned wedding and event venue in Mckinney. We are a full-service venue that offers room rentals, food & beverage services, in-house rentals, and 3rd party rentals. Our company has steadily grown year over year and we are looking to add a passionate and driven individual to our management team. We are seeking a full-time Custodian to help us clean and reset the venue after every event and 1-3 days of spot cleaning during the week, depending on the event calendar.

Lead Custodian

Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily cleaning and maintenance activities of the custodial staff
- Train and supervise custodial staff, ensuring they follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Perform general custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated areas
- Handle special cleaning projects as assigned
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and submit orders as needed
- Inspect facilities to ensure they meet cleanliness and safety standards
- Address any maintenance or repair issues promptly

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Proficient in buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
