Job Title Shipping & Receiving Specialist Job Description Summary Summary: Responsible for working with Shipping and Receiving Team to verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Job description Scope of Activities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and organize shipping supplies Process sales orders • Process and ship UPS packages worldwide Process and ship FedEx and DHL packages worldwide Investigate and identify simple errors made in the ERP system Pack and unpack incoming and outgoing product Ensure paperwork is complete, accurate, and attached as required to incoming and outgoing product Follow quality inspection standards & processes Receive all incoming parcels into the ERP system Prioritize packages by expedite and non-expedite or by overnight shipments Process Misc. shipments (RTV, personal, etc.) Process Sub-contract shipments Utilize Lean manufacturing techniques to create problem solving resolutions using experience and judgment Maintain Integrity of Shelf-Life System Maintain FIFO (First in First Out) standards Follow Inventory storage practices Maintain a clean and organized work environment Computer skills required Must be a team player and work well with others for department success Must be able to support/adapt to changing company goal and processes Must be able to work in a high paced environment with accuracy Excellent customer service skills required Obtain and maintain a forklift license as needed Other duties as required Join Daher to... Entry Level Position. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Windows 10, MS Teams, prior ERP experience Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
