Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Assist customers with their inquiries and provide exceptional customer service - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor - Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed - Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently - Provide product knowledge and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions - Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets - Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: - Proficient in English (Spanish language skills are a plus) - Previous experience in retail sales is preferred - Knowledge of retail math for cash handling purposes - Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Basic technical sales knowledge, particularly in appliances, is desirable Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.
