What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Specialist position at DAA Seattle?
We have an opening for a detail oriented, hardworking individual to join our Detail team as our Detail Quality Control Specialist. Our Detail Quality Control Specialist (QC) plays a key role in the presentation of hundreds of vehicles for our weekly auctions. They are our reconditioning experts, ensuring that all the units crossing our auction block are exceptionally clean. Details QC is responsible verifying quality of the interior and exterior detailing of vehicles as they are leaving the detail shop. They will provide support by touching up minor corrections needed, taking pictures of finished vehicles and recording completed units for billing purposes. The QC is responsible for having effective communication with team members when areas are missed and provide training to provide support to team members as they grow in their positions. Our QC is responsible for providing support to maintain the cleanliness and operating condition of the shop and tools. We’re looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced, team-oriented environment, have an eye for detail and a history of excellent work attendance. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, the ability to stand for long periods of time and don’t mind getting dirty or messy as part of their job.
Our ideal candidate is a top performer who brings high levels of energy and enthusiasm, can work independently but also works well with a diverse team. Previous detail shop experience is helpful, but not required. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, the ability to stand for long periods of time and also don’t mind getting dirty or messy as part of their job. A three year driving abstract will be required for this position.
