What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Associate position at DAD Enterprises?
We have an immediate full-time opening in our customer service department
Applicants should have a background in the food service industry, either food service distribution or food service sales. Applicant should be well versed in food service products, terminology, pack sizes, etc. as pertains to the industry in general. Applicants will have a professional and courteous demeanor both in person and on the telephone. Applicants should be proficient in basic computer skills and have experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Applicant must be capable of operating multi-line telephones. Applicant must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment, work independently and proactively, and work well with other departments and staff members. Applicant will be required to learn our POS (Point of Sale) and WMS (Warehouse Management System).
Duties to include: greeting customers in-person and on the phone, receiving customer orders by telephone, email and fax, proofing driver route documentation, performing various data entry functions, responding to internal and external correspondences, filing miscellaneous paperwork and reports, and supporting sales staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
