Responsibilities
Incumbent is responsible for establishing, revising and maintaining all necessary Production Controls scheduling systems with the assistance of Production, Purchasing and Engineering. Position personnel performs a variety of duties including, but not limited to, generating the necessary documentation to begin workflow for a project, monitoring the progression of production and reviewing any factors which affect scheduling.
Personal and interpersonal skills are required to keep all members of the Production, Production Control, Purchasing and Engineering team informed. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Other responsibilities
- Import/Export
- Communicate with customs broker/forwarding company and provide information (HTS, ISF data, etc.) to them
- Update information regarding an import log (shipping information, HTS number, etc.) and a log for shipments
- Filing
- Create commercial invoice or necessary documents
- Contact forwarding company to arrange shipment
- Quote, process manufacturing requests (and corresponding shipping documents) and issue PO to DJ/DCA/DKC for all Spare Parts
- Support peers in Production Control Department; such as updating Completed Shipping Instruction Documents, document(s) scanning and filing, prepare weekly status reports, and other items as needed
- Overtime may be required as needed.
- Occasional travel may be needed.
- Office environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and a lot of time keyboarding and looking at a monitor.

- Must be able to read blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
- Must have working knowledge of MRP system (SAP preferred)
Education and Experience
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. required.
- College helpful to be able to grow.
