Responsibilities
Position Summary/ Primary Purpose
Are you looking for an Information Technology internship that will give you valuable hands-on experience? Our Co-op/ Internship program at Daifuku North America Holding Company will combine your education with practical experience on the job. We are currently looking for bright and talented college level students who are interested in bringing their passion to life and to be part of our future as a global material handling systems world leader.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations
- Investigate, gather, report on and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks
- Identify and implement cost reduction, service delivery, security and process improvement ideas
- Implement new IT processes and systems
- Contribute to the success of the team by taking on additional responsibilities and completing tasks as assigned
Knowledge
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products (Especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience using cloud-based or SaaS applications.
- Interest, experience and/or academic focus in general and administrative business functions.
- Interest, experience, and/or academic focus in information and technology.
- Interest, experience, and/or academic focus in data analytics.
- Understand communications and change concepts (marketing, branding, learning, and adoption)
- Understand business management concepts (budgeting, procurement, contracting).

- Strong organizational skills and written communication skills
- Availability to work 24-40 hours per week, Mon-Friday, 8am-5pm, ongoing (not seasonal)
- Self-managed, hard-working, great attitude, ready to learn
Education & Experience
- Actively enrolled in and pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Training and/or certification in business analysis, project management, ITIL, and/or Agile practices a big plus.
Demonstrated Physical Abilities
Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
