Summary The Senior Associate Tax performs administration and processing of key tax activities is responsible for the following responsibilities: - Focus on ensuring tax compliance and tax provision through optimized reporting procedures and collaboration with external tax advisors. - Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures through joint efforts with other teams such as accounting, commercial, and supply chain to promote the successful function of the tax team. Responsibilities Tax Provision and Compliance - Ensures accurate and timely filing of consolidated federal, state, and international tax returns under the direction of the Tax Leader - Manage preparation of Company’s tax documents, including quarterly estimated payments, extensions, and other various tax schedules. Responsible for tax payments including federal, state, property and withholding taxes In charge of tax notices/correspondences received from tax authorities and handles them with the external advisors. Works closely with Treasury/Risk Management for the checks received for deposits. Provides supports/schedules for the quarterly income tax provision process. Transfer Pricing and Global Tax In charge of segmented product P&L and related schedule preparation for Transfer Pricing purposes (Quarterly) Actively involved in correspondences between Japan parent and company for TP related inquiries and comments Indirect Taxes Provide supports/schedules for the monthly/quarterly sales and use tax process. Oversights the VAT related claims/correspondences Ad-hoc Special Projects Supports with various tax consulting and special projects. Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation. Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university) Bachelor's Degree Accounting required and Experience Qualifications 4 or More Years big 4 public accounting firms or large organizations with corporate income tax experience (ASC 740) required and 1 or More Years Pharma industry experience preferred Licenses and Certifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred Travel Ability to travel up to 5% Ability to travel up to 5% (Domestic travel related to meetings, conventions, training, etc.)
