Purchasing Agent
Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports and documents involving purchasing of inventory.
- Continuously build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Maintain records of all transactions, purchasing orders, receipts, and payments.
- Review and process purchase orders.
- Monitoring inventory levels and determining purchase needs.
- Find ways to optimize warehouse and storage.
- Track all inventory. Manage cycle counts.
- Develop strategies for purchasing products.
- Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management, logistics, finance, business, etc. is required.
- Proven experience in purchasing and inventory planning.
- Must have background using Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Familiarity with Activate or Acumatica is a plus.
