Customer Service Representative Job Description:

We are actively searching for a FT Customer Service Representative to work in our Lorton, VA location.
This position will serve as the liaison between customers and field personnel, to fulfill customer requests. Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, etc. in a courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.
Duties of the Customer Service Representative:
- Processes a high volume of incoming calls and emails, including customer orders submitted by telephone, email, and fax
- Checks in Route Drivers at the end of the workday and reconciles all customer funds received during deliveries
- Makes regular calls to accounts with outstanding balances and assists in maintaining accounts receivable over 60 days and attrition at five percent or less
- Provides backup support with daily sales reports, bank accounts, and month-end processes in supervisor's absence
- Keeps records of customer interactions, processes customer accounts, and files documents
- Develops and demonstrates through knowledge of the Company's products, services, and pricing structure

Requirements of the Customer Service Representative:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Must be self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills as well as organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Problem-solving skills
- A positive disposition
