Position Profile:
The Site Controller is a financial business partner with the operations leadership team to support the achievement of financial and operational goals by providing financial leadership to the manufacturing facility. The Site Controller is expected to be a dynamic leader on the leadership team with responsibility for all financial and internal control aspects of the manufacturing site.
Responsibilities:
- Financial and Operational Controls
- Oversight for the budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis
- Develops and executes systematic processes that ensure strong internal controls including; data integrity, asset protection, and adherence to corporate policies
- Reporting and analysis
- Prepares and delivers the site budgets, forecasts and projections
- Prepares and delivers the monthly close processes for the site including financial reporting and analysis with direct responsibility for all aspects of month-end close
- Develops and monitors key metrics used to facilitate decision making for the operations leadership team
- Communicates results effectively to management and non-financial personnel
- Provides in-depth analysis on variances to budget and forecast
- Driving site profitability
- Leads actions in line with achieving targets, mitigating risk and prioritizing resource needs
- Leads proactive development of monetary plans for productivity improvement and corrective actions to ensure facility financial results and member value is optimized.
- Provides insightful and competitive analytics that anticipate change and drive decision making
- Provides investment analysis
- Educates plant personnel on key performance metrics
- Organizational Relationships
- Reports to Director of Accounting
- This position works closely with Divisional management, accounting personnel, and Corporate Finance departments
- Ensure compliance with DFA Policy and Procedures
