Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician
Daiya Healthcare is a leader in the post-acute care industry recruiting for its continued expansion. We are currently seeking experienced Physicians to manage patients in skilled nursing and long term care facilities. We support a balanced work life with job fulfillment for all our employees.
PT opportunities 1-2d/week: Olympia
Providers are expected to make daily rounds, completing history of physical examinations as well as providing follow-up care as necessary. Each physician is supported by a mid-level provider, whom is responsible for the majority of follow-up care in each of our facilities. We are a multi-specialty group, and specialty support is available when needed. All documentation is completed using an EMR.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with nursing staff and facility leadership
- Provide primary care and preventive care for patients in our facilities
- Coordinate patient care with ARNPs, PAs, and nursing staff
- Attend facility meetings as necessary
- Complete documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted MD/DO WA state license
- Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and/or Geriatrics
- Fully vaccinated for COVID 19 and up to date with boosters or able to provide a CMS approved exemption.
