What are the responsibilities and job description for the SR SAMPLES ASSOCIATE position at Dal-Tile Corp.?
Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Senior Samples Associate to join our TEAM! As the Senior Samples Associate, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as supervising the sample teams production and use various tools to cut tile products.
Primary Objective
The Sr. Samples Associate supervises the Sample Associate team while they assemble sample boards for all brands.
Major Function and Scope
Supervises Samples Team to ensure production goals are met
Ensures team is following safety procedures
Delegates work to Samples Team
Responds to Sample Team members questions or escalates question to Supervisor
Provides daily production reports to Supervisor
Assists in setting up and gluing sample tiles to boards
Uses wet saw to cut tiles
Packs boards for shipment to Distribution Centers
Performs other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
High school diploma or GED required.
Warehouse picking and forklift experience
1 year of work experience preferred. Direct work experience in a manufacturing plant is a plus.
