Summary: Dalcom Engineering is looking for a part-time (approx. 15-25 hrs./week) Office Coordinator for their location in Galena, MD. The coordinator will facilitate office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency and take part in the management of other office personnel. Dalcom Engineering is a nationally recognized small business. We have an established reputation for providing sophisticated engineering solutions for our National Defense community. Job Responsibilities: Communicates and coordinates with other office employees over schedule-related matters. Supports company operations by maintaining office systems, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with required federal programs. Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and supplies procurement. Manages incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, mail and packages. Keeps management and other office personnel informed by maintaining and submitting regular reports. Regular communication with management and members of office personnel at other locations over contract-related matters. Supports employee onboarding, timekeeping, and other HR-related activities. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing administrative and other related tasks as needed. Qualifications / Skills: Informing others Managing processes Supervision Promoting process improvement Reporting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Education & Experience: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Minimum 2 years supervisory and/or administrative experience in an office setting.
