What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Pastor position at Dallas Eastern Presbyterian Church?
- Duties
- Provide spiritual guidance and leadership to the youth community
- Plan, organize, and lead youth group service and activities
- Lead a bible study on Friday night and a youth service on Sunday morning
- Mentor and support individual youth members in their spiritual journey
- Demonstrated ability to engage with parents and integrate their involvement into the youth programs
- Collaborate with other church staff members to integrate youth ministry into the overall church programs
- Qualifications
- Strong personal faith and commitment to the Reformed faith
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field
- Previous experience working with youth in a ministry or educational setting preferred
