Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their sporting goods needs and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Fulfill online orders and prepare them for shipment or customer pickup
- Provide automotive services such as tire inflation, battery installation, and basic maintenance
- Use automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate recommendations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of sporting goods products and equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track inventory and maintenance tasks is beneficial
