Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner to understand their needs and preferences
- Demonstrate product knowledge and provide accurate information to customers
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle based on their requirements and budget
- Conduct test drives and explain the features and benefits of different vehicles
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale with customers to reach a mutually beneficial agreement
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for vehicle sales transactions
- Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain a sales pipeline and actively prospect for new customers
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the dealership
Experience:
- Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively explain complex information
- Proficient in retail math calculations, including discounts, percentages, and profit margins
- Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies, including outbound sales and phone etiquette
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
- Knowledge of automotive industry trends, products, and competitors
