IV PICC Registered Nurse - Margate, FL
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide both direct and indirect nursing care for assigned patients. This role involves supervising assigned personnel and requires an in-depth understanding of department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to nursing care. The position demands strong interpretive, interactive, and consultative skills, along with the ability to manage and supervise effectively. Proficiency in written, auditory, and visual communication is essential, as is the ability to convey ideas primarily through spoken words. Competence in written communication, telephone use, and manual dexterity is also required.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- 2-3 years of PICC acute care experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- PICC Certification is mandatory (please submit PICC certificate with your application).
Additional Information:
- Compensation: $31.67 - $47.50 per hour (based on 15 years of experience).
- Highly preferred local candidates.

Responsibilities
- Perform catheterizations for vascular access and ensure proper placement.
- Utilize IV insertion skills to administer medications and fluids as prescribed.
- Document patient information accurately in EMR and EHR systems.
- Conduct patient assessments to provide individualized care.
- Assist with tube feeding and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Utilize nursing expertise to provide quality patient care in an acute care setting.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team and patients to ensure optimal outcomes.
