As a Quoting Agent, you will play a pivotal role in the sales and customer service process. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare accurate price quotations for potential clients based on their specifications and requirements. This role demands a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication with both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review customer inquiries and specifications to understand project requirements.

· Analyze cost factors, including materials, labor, and overhead, to determine accurate production costs.

· Utilize quoting software or pricing models to generate comprehensive price quotations.

· Collaborate with sales representatives, production teams, and other departments to gather necessary information for accurate quoting.

· Communicate with customers to clarify requirements, provide additional information, and ensure accurate quoting.

· Maintain a systematic record of all quotations, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

· Update and organize product and pricing databases regularly.

· Address customer inquiries regarding quotes promptly and professionally.

· Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide appropriate pricing solutions.

Skills needed :

· Proficient in using quoting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

· Good analytical and mathematical skills to accurately calculate costs.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex pricing information clearly.

· Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in quotes.

· Organizational Skills: Effective organization and time management skills to handle multiple quotations simultaneously.

· Team Player: Ability to collaborate with various teams and departments to gather necessary information.

· Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
