Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising a team of 2-3 employees as well as participate in manufacturing/warehouse duties.

Responsibilities:

• Properly label and tag incoming bar stock and put in correct inventory location identifies materials require for production
• Troubleshoots machinery problems and corrects operation deviations within ability
• Offers instruction and assistance to employees as needed
• Maintains company standards for quality, timeliness and cost
• Directs and controls workloads to ensure smooth operation and flow of product
• Investigates and documents production problems and employee complaints as needed
• Reports production and employee problems to management as needed
• Performs all plant functions to cover schedule work breaks
  
  

Requirements:

• Supervisory experience preferred
• Prior experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred
