Job Posting for Grower at Dan Schantz Farm & Greenhouses Llc

Our Growers are directly responsible for product quality in their assigned production area. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Proper irrigation of crops
Monitoring crops for growth, health, insects and diseases
Fertilizer and nutrient management and application
Crop record keeping and reporting crop development and any issues to Head Grower
General housekeeping of the assigned greenhouse section

Qualifications needed:

Applicants must be able to:

Maneuver a watering hose
Be on your feet for 8 hours each day
Lift, carry, and move 25 pounds
Work in greenhouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, dirt, dust, and other possible allergens
