Job Description:
As a Design Coordinator, you will support the design team in the development and execution of our intimate apparel collections. You will manage various aspects of the design process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the design process from concept to final product, ensuring timelines are met.
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of design documentation, including sketches, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Assist with organizing and managing fittings, sample reviews, and design meetings.
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to track sample progress and production timelines.
- Maintain and update the design archive and fabric library.
- Support the design team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, organizing files, and managing correspondence.
- Ensure the design office is a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a design or coordinator role, preferably in the fashion industry; intimate apparel experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric properties.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
