What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Supervisor position at Dana Corp?
Searching for a Controls Supervisor that will take on a supervisory and leadership role of a staff of Controls Technicians across 3 shifts.
- Lead and influence a team of control specialists across 3 shifts
- Mentor and coach control specialists.
- Design, program, troubleshoot and modify controls for new machines and retrofits with the latest control's technology.
- Program HMI's, vision systems, and robotics
- Program Allen Bradley RSLogix5000 and Siemens S7 Controls and older Allen Bradley PLC Systems
- Make electrical drawing changes in AutoCAD
- Programming and integration of Fanuc Robotics
- Order appropriate components for projects
- Assist in solving problems involving process and control systems
- Lead projects from concept through installation
- Work along side Machine Designers and Project Managers to ensure projects are accurate and completed to expectations
Education & Competencies Required/Preferred:
- Must possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic with a passion to deliver the expected results
- 7 years' experience working with PLC's
- Bachelor's degree in electrical controls or equivalent work experience
- Leadership and management experience
