Dana Transport in Bridgewater NJ is looking for a full time dispatcher.
Must have good customer service skills. Attention to detail is very important. Must be able to pass a background test. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, employees are also subject to random drug/alcohol tests.
Typical hours will be Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assigning loads to qualified drivers and equipment
- Assuring Equipment and Drivers meet requirements for loads
- Participating in driver management policies
- Receiving customer orders and data entry
- Assigning assets to loads in computer
- Notifying drivers and customers about service alerts/delays
- Informing driver of delivery requirements
- Preparing and issuing delivery documentation to drivers
- Updating computerized dispatch
- Assuring drivers accurately complete and turn in all required paperwork
- Preparing tank wash lists
- Assisting with training and implementation of Safety and Service standards
Qualifications and Skills
- high school diploma
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- customer service skills
- good communication skills, written and oral
- 2 to 5 years experience in trucking history

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
