Dana Transport has an opportunity for a dispatcher at our Oxford MA terminal

This Dispatcher is responsible for the efficient dispatch of Company and Owner Operators to ensure safe and timely pick up/delivery of bulk materials in a way that maximizes revenue opportunities and build both customer and driver loyalty.

Responsibilities Include:

Setting up and administering daily dispatch operations
Dispatching drivers for pick-ups and deliveries
Tracking drivers and equipment to facilitate the timely delivery of containers to their final destination
Providing customers with information on services, rates, equipment availability and shipment status
Confirming proper bookings and billings to meet customer requirements
Utilizing TMW software, update pick-ups/deliveries and enter customer order information
Answering driver and customer calls; send and respond to emails related to shipments

Job Requirements

3 to 5 years' dispatch experience required - plastic dry bulk experience preferred.
Knowledge of and familiarity with DOT regulations
Highly organized with ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Transportation shipping experience preferred
Information / knowledge of operations and shipping
Experience using TMW is a PLUS!
Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills and experience using Excel, Word and Outlook

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
