Job Description
The Executive Assistant for the Customer Success Group (CSG) is responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Life Sciences Instruments Group (LSIG) and other stakeholders of the newly formed team. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, technical skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, ability to work with confidential information, and the initiative to work in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment. Experience in the Danaher Business Systems (DBS) framework are a plus. This position allows for working remotely anywhere in the eastern time zone of the United States.
You will be a part of the CSG team and report to the Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Represent Danaher Life Sciences senior level management
Manage detailed and demanding schedule, Outlook Calendar, and preparing for meetings;
Prioritize emails on behalf of COO; draft, review and send communications as requested.
Manage confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response;
Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel; managing all details pertaining to reservations and itineraries;
Monitor status of key deliverables; establish, manage and adhere to action plans with CCO to meet deadlines;
Coordinate in-house and off-site meetings for small and large groups (including agenda, accommodations, transportation, catering) and travel for meetings when necessary.
Organize conference calls, virtual get-togethers (setup MS Teams & reminders);
Ability to participate in global leadership meetings, take actions items, and manage appropriate follow-up from meetings;
Handle business reviews (Monthly Operating, Strategy, & Talent);
Organize monthly Staff Meeting presentations (updates, reminders, coordination and distribute timely);
Responsive in a timely manner on requests thru TEAMs, emails or phone calls in a timely manner.
Composing and preparing correspondence, in addition to proofreading for spelling, grammar, layout and making appropriate changes;
Assistant as needed to staff when rush/special/confidential assignments/tasks arises;
Utilizing Excel and other systems to prepare reports and create/format advanced PowerPoint presentations;
Preparing expense reports and adhere to Danaher corporate policy guidelines.
Process and track status of purchase orders, invoices and reconcile budget.
Lead and project manage the CSG Kaizen Funnel and sustainment actions in cooperation with the CCO and functional leaders. Coach/partner with them to develop and refine project charters and support DBS events through all funnel stages, expansive of sustainment.
Support the CCO and team leaders to build foundational DM processes and analytics to create leading commercial initiatives that support the implementation of our LSIG Commercial Strategy.
Support CSG’s performance reporting across Strategic Partnership Management, Strategic Marketing and Customer Experience & Commerce by utilizing CRM tools from SFDC, Pardot and other data platforms.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Strong technical skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, MS Teams in addition ability to trouble-shoot technical issues;
Ability to independently create documents from notes/input from various sources;
Self-motivated and ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs and re-prioritize work as necessary;
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines;
Positive and strong team player;
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compose formal communications from Executives to entire organization;
<10% Travel for meetings as necessary.
Your academic and professional background includes:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Minimum of 12 years previous experience and executive support
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Strong understanding of DBS from previous assignments at Danaher
Experience working with a Fortune 500 company with diverse customer groups and job functions is preferred.
