The In-Process Lab Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible the analytical testing and documenting of results related to finished goods manufactured at the Kentucky Reagents Manufacturing (KRM) site.
This position is part of the Production located in Florence, KY and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Production and report to the Director of Manufacturing responsible for the analytical testing and documenting of results related to finished goods manufactured at the Kentucky Reagents Manufacturing (KRM) site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Strong analytical acumen and knowledge of the scientific method.
- Maintain conformance to all Beckman Coulter policies and practices in a FDA regulated environment.
- A strong eye for detail and a high level of integrity. Excellent documentation and communication skills. The candidate will have the ability to stop production if results of testing show nonconformities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Associate degree.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access.
- Lab experience or training.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience with the use of and troubleshooting of Osmometers, particle counters (Z2 and iQ 200) and specific gravity determination a plus.
- Experience with pH / conductivity meters and titrations.
The hourly rate for this role is $21.50. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
