In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Evaluate, implement, and execute protocols and methods to inspect, test, and analyze raw materials and finished products and ensure that they are in compliance with internal and external quality and regulatory requirements and ready for distribution at the appropriate time
Generate of data reports and release of materials
Analyze and interpret QC and experimental data and appropriately responds to the information on hand. Partner with Quality Assurance and subject matter experts to recommends corrective actions when necessary
Develop processes and tests to determine that appropriate quality control analysis is being performed
Manage development or transfer of new QC processes and improvements to existing QC processes through implementation with minimal assistance. This may include investigation and implementation of new QC equipment, methods, procedures, and software
Provide and coordinate training for end users and support staff for newly developed or transferred QC processes
Own the Quality Control Archer Process and implementation of improvements to drive, best practices, efficiency and effectiveness
Other duties as assigned to support the Boulder Archer-IDT facility
The essential requirements of the job include:
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in life science a discipline (biology, microbiology, biochemistry, etc.) OR Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline (biology, microbiology, biochemistry, etc.) with 5 years of industry laboratory experience
Proficient with molecular genetics wet-lab techniques, particularly PCR and NGS library preparation
Experience with NGS and bioinformatic tools for NGS analysis
Familiar with cancer genetics

The salary range for this role is $94,500 – $106,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
