Job Summary:
Develops and implements testing, sampling and inspection procedures on raw materials, equipment, in-process materials, and/or finished products to ensure that product specifications and company and regulatory requirements are met. Investigates and troubleshoots functionality and performance problems. Recommends corrective action when appropriate. May monitor and execute on-site equipment and tools calibration.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work independently under daily supervision direction from the Sequencing supervisor and/or Sequencing Lead
- Perform advanced assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of biological and chemical principles
- Identify Out of Specification results and initiate OOS Investigation, perform Root Cause Analysis, Develop Hypotheses testing plan and complete OOS investigations.
- Act as a collaborator for associated Quality Events and/ or CAPA’s
- Act as primary analyst for RG and GMP projects
- Author sequencing reports
- Analyze, interpret, and report sequencing test results to support manufacturing, validation, process development, environmental monitoring and stability studies in a GMP environment
- Accurately document and compare sequencing results against control/specification limits
- Perform Audit Trail review to maintain 21CFR Part 11 compliance on electronic records
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience working in a related laboratory environment
- Experience with Sanger sequencing and Next Gen sequencing preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Scientific related field required
