The Technical Analyst is responsible for all operational aspects of support functions. Effective interpersonal skills matched to strong technical skills are key to this position. This role serves as an on-site and remote technician, working closely with our Executive users, Business Apps, Network, Server, and Information Security groups.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide excellent hands-on support to the employees working from the San Jose Molecular Devices office, as well as for remote employees, including:
Follow established procedures to independently manage the ticketing system queue to provide tier 2 desktop support for internal staff working locally and remotely.
Maintain onboarding and offboarding following operating procedures.
Configure and maintain laptop and desktop PCs imaged with Windows 10, 11, and Mac OS, including advanced hardware/software troubleshooting, including Microsoft Apps.
Provide executive support by responding quickly to our Digital Concierge Microsoft Teams channel.
Writing self-help and technical knowledge articles.
Active Directory management.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Associate’s degree or higher with a focus in Computer Information Systems.
Minimum two years supporting end-users in person, via phone, and in an enterprise-level corporate IT environment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Hybrid work model – Office and Remote.
Participate in after-hours server patching, change requests, and on-call support rotation.
Strong executive support and level 2 Desktop Support experience; highly organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience within Microsoft enterprise-level corporate environment a must: Active Directory, Win10, MS Apps, etc.
Standing or sitting for long periods may be necessary.
Some lifting (greater than 25 pounds) may be necessary; Facilities, Materials, and IT employees occasionally must lift at least 50-75 pounds.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 25..86 - 33.65. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
