Danceland II is seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, excellent teaching skills, and a positive attitude. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging dance classes to students of all ages and skill levels, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans for all classes.
Teach proper dance techniques, terminology, and choreography to students of all ages and skill levels.
Conduct warm-up exercises, drills, and stretches to improve students' flexibility, strength, and coordination.
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to help them improve their skills and reach their goals.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported, and valued.
Organize and oversee rehearsals, performances, and recitals to showcase students' progress and achievements.
Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and developments in the field of dance education.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members to address questions, concerns, and feedback.
Maintain a safe and clean dance studio environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Dance Instructor, with a strong background in teaching various dance styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards teaching and working with students of all ages.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and execute engaging dance classes and activities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
