SENIOR SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER

Danfoss is seeking a hands-on, flexible Engineer to join our team. You will work in a team-oriented environment and will have exposure to many different processes and tasks.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Develop software that ensures a high level of quality for variable frequency drives, focusing on developing software tests that can run on a variety of hardware configurations and across a variety of test environments.

• Execute embedded software test projects from planning through maintenance for new and existing products.

• Develop and maintain software for verifying product functionality.

• Analyze regression test runs and perform maintenance testing as well as manual verification testing.

• Create user stories to facilitate planning and long-term project goals; create accurate estimates and breakdown of work needed to complete a user story.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

• 5 years' experience with software test design and development.

• 5 years' experience developing automated tests.

• 2 years' experience with Software Configuration Management Tools such as Git and Azure Devops.
